Power Computing Limited (thereafter "we, us, our") Terms and Conditions of Trade

These terms and conditions will apply to all orders placed on the powerc.com website.

Ordering and Delivery

All products offered on the powerc.com website are subject to availability and are exclusive of carriage charges. See our Delivery page for details of carriage charges. We will not despatch any goods for which an order has been accepted until we have received full payment for the order by cleared funds.

The prices and manufacturers' specifications as shown on the powerc.com website may change without notice. Prices may change because of currency fluctuations. We will endeavour to ensure that the prices on our website are accurate at the time that you place your order. If there is an error in the pricing we will inform you as quickly as possible and offer you the option of confirming the order at the correct pricing or cancelling your order.

We will use all reasonable endeavours to deliver your order to the premises stated by you, by the advertised delivery date. For the avoidance of doubt you acknowledge that the delivery date is not guaranteed or of the essence of these Terms & Conditions and that we shall in no circumstances be liable to you for any losses, damages or charges incurred by you due to the late delivery of your order. If any delay is under our control we will notify you of that delay as soon as possible.

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery and in all cases inform us in writing within 7 (seven) days of delivery of any damage, shortages or non delivery of the order. This does not affect your rights as a consumer.

Payment Options

We accept most forms of UK debit and credit card at no extra charge. All goods remain the property of Power Computing Ltd until paid for in full.

Money-Off Vouchers

We will occasionally offer you, either through an email or in print, a discount voucher to be used to reduce the cost of certain items that you may purchase at powerc.com. The value of such Money-Off Vouchers may depend on the value of the items in your shopping basket and will include any relevant sales tax.

Money-Off Vouchers can only be redeemed at our website powerc.com, on the Payment page. They have a cash redemption value of 0.001p and are not transferable or assignable. When using a Money-Off Voucher, the balance due on the order must be paid by credit or debit card.

Money-Off Vouchers expire after a certain time from the date of issue, where permissible under applicable law. They cannot be applied to previously placed orders or used in conjunction with any other discount offers. Only one Money-Off Voucher will be issued to a customer at any one time.

Returns

We operate a simple, straightforward returns policy. If your equipment does not function immediately after you take delivery of it, we will take it back and replace it, FREE of charge. If you need to return a product for any reason, please read these terms and conditions first and then follow these steps:

Contact us for an RMA (returns merchandise authorisation) number, which is valid for 7 days. If you are returning a PC System under warranty we will then arrange for a FREE collection of the system.

Ensure that you write the RMA number in a prominent place on the outside of the package that you return to us.

If the faulty product is one of our PC Systems that are covered by our FREE 2 year warranty, we will collect it, repair or exchange it and re-deliver it to you, totally FREE of charge.

Unless it is a PC System under our 2 year warranty, send the product back to us at your cost (we recommend insuring expensive items) and we will ship a replacement or a repaired product to you free of charge.

 

Cancellations

In accordance with The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000:

You have the right to cancel your order at any time before it is dispatched, without charge. If we cannot deliver the Goods within 7 days of the order being placed, you have the right either to cancel the order or to agree another delivery time with us.

Once the order has been dispatched to you, you may return any product to us for a full refund of the purchase price (excluding shipping costs) subject to the following terms and conditions:

You must contact us within 7 working days of receipt of the order.

Returned items must be in stock condition - unmarked, unopened and undamaged. All factory seals must be intact.

Faulty or damaged goods

Before returning a product as faulty we ask that you check with technical support for a possible solution. Power Computing considers a ‘reasonable period’ of time for a fault to appear as 28 days. Within this period, if you believe you have received a faulty product, or it was damaged in transit, we will exchange the unit or provide a refund, subject to the following conditions:

Contact must be made within 28 days of receipt of the order.

If you are returning the product for a refund, it must be returned complete (including all original packaging and box contents).

If you are returning the product for a replacement, we will not despatch the new unit until the faulty product has been received at our warehouse.

Certain faults are not covered under this warranty e.g. physical damage or any sign of misuse to a unit or any fault caused by improper use (i.e. uploading incorrect firmware, blocking cooling vents) is not covered.

In such cases we may reject the returned goods. In cases where an item was returned as faulty but no fault could be found, or it showed signs of misuse we would return the item to you and reserve the right to charge a diagnostic charge of £50.

Please check that any serial numbers listed on the sales receipt agree with the parts supplied. Any errors found should be reported to us not later than 24 hours from the date of purchase.

In all events our liability in respect of any sale shall be limited to the sale price of the goods sold.

The warranty offered is non-transferable and will cease to be valid if you should sell or transfer the ownership of the machine within any remaining warranty period.

If your PC System has a software or hardware problem that is not covered by our PC Systems Warranty the above diagnostic charge plus a collection & redelivery charge, where applicable, will be applied.

Please note that the above charges are unlikely to be incurred by you except in exceptional circumstances, since our technical support team will have helped and guided you extensively before accepting a return.

These conditions shall apply in accordance with English law.

All the above do not apply to business-to-business transactions, as they are not covered by the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. Please contact us if you require our Business-to-Business Terms and Conditions.
